Aftercare Services
Foundations Health provides aftercare treatment for addiction for people who are leaving treatment and wish to continue their care as a way to prevent relapse and continue to focus on recovery.
Why is an aftercare program important?
One of the main goals of treatment is to prevent relapse and continue recovery afterward. Aftercare treatment for addiction is a form of continued care that can make a difference in your or your loved one’s life after their initial treatment by helping to do just this.
According to research in the National Library of Medicine, continued care after addiction treatment has been shown to result in more positive treatment results when compared to those who did not receive aftercare services.

- Support programs
These types of support groups and programs can be anything from facility-based groups to more general support programs, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery, SMART Recovery and more.
